I think that's the first time I draw (not deformed) Romano and Veneziano Vargas.... They look too serious, haha. Italian pride and all that jazz! X'D

Little useless historical information as usual:

Brigantage/Brigantry: after Italian unification in 1861 poor people in Southern Italy fought against the new northern italian government becoming bandits (killing and stealing in the name of the liberty of Southern Italy, protected, hidden and helped by most of the southern italy people who didn't like a bit the new situation). So soldiers from Northern Italy were sent South to sedate these rioters in blood. Among the brigants there were some female ones, like Michelina de Cesare.

For 5 years we fought a bloody civil war. So much for an italian unification... :S

Veneziano is dressed like a northern italian soldier, of course. Don't know if I wanna colour it, it was just to try and draw some dress and uniform (and trying to draw the Vargas Brothers - I'm not Vargas virgin anymore! ) in truth! X'D

Hahahahahha nooooooo of course not, I'm sure your italians will be astounding as usual since you're putting so much into that drawing (and the pirates were for my Birthday, oeh! è_é It was important to draw them! XD) ! And what are you talking about? No original? We have totallydifferent styles. You're more into fightings and blood and males (loads of sexy males! :iconsoaparthurplz: ) , so no connections at all with this and no comparisons! u.u In truth it's 'cause I've been listening to Americano by lady gaga for 2 weeks at least and I DON'T KNOW WHY since it speaks of a latino girl and an american boy I had this suddenly wish to draw the Italy brothers! X'D
My mind is totally absurd.

Well i do need to redraw the poses anyways....but the idea still isnt original. So sad.
I still love this though! And I was looking for a good reference for Feliciano's uniform, so I guess I'll just use this! :iconus-xdplz: Best reference I've found yet!
Crap...cant use this for Romano's outfit though.....he's not a girl in mine.
